Courtney and Matt's Engagements!

I photographed Courtney's cousins wedding a few years ago and now I get to photograph hers and i'm so excited to do so!
So in the winter there aren't many options as far as "pretty" places to take pictures. That is when I push my love for dirty places on my couples. Honestly, our town is a fairly clean place and I haven't been able to find many run down places. However, this summer my friend moved to a new neighborhood. In visiting her I found this great location. When I set up engagement sessions I give the couples suggestions on where they could have their pictures taken. Everyone always chooses the obvious, safe choice of the places that are nice and flourish. Little do they know that the dirty places are the best. I'm so glad that Courtney and Matt took a chance and let me show that even the ugliest of places can make great pictures.
When we pulled up to it though they looked at me like I was crazy. It was definitely not what they expected. I hope they are as happy with their pictures as I am!
I'm definitely going to be scoping out some more places for my shoots this summer!!!
