2008 proved to be another unbelievable year for me. Not only did I have a beautiful daughter to raise and an exceptional husband but my business has continued to grow and flourish. I have been so so fortunate to have the most outstanding, wonderful clients a girl could ask for. I had a wonderful time at each wedding I photographed this year.
Early in the year I was featured in the Spring/Summer 2008 edition of The Knot Michigan magazine. What a wonderful honor to be selected for this publication! It was wonderful to be recognized without having to pay the advertising fees. A few months later I was interviewed for an article in a Lansing Bridal Guide titled "How to Feel Comfortable with Your Photographer." It really meant a lot that I was approached for this little guide. I always strive to make sure each and every person I meet (client or not) feels comfortable around me. So this was a privilege. And as if this all weren't enough one of my photos I took of my darling niece was chosen for a book by Jim Miotke called "The Betterphoto Guide to Photographing Children." If you haven't checked out this book it's worth looking at. You can buy it anywhere from your local bookstore to amazon.com. It has so much information for the professional and amateur alike. I really worked hard on my children sessions this year and ended up photographing over 50 children!
Now, here I am already booked up for 2009 and booking into 2010! Lastly, I was approached by Brides Michigan to possibly be published in their Spring/Summer 2009 issue so i'll definitely keep you updated on that!
So before we start into the new wonderful chaos of the next wedding season lets reflect on all of my wonderful couples from this year:
Deb and Greg - January 5, 2008
Rachel and Dan - March 22, 2008

Congratulations Jill! I am sure your 2009 will be even more wonderful and exciting!
My favorite is Tracie and Nathan - it looks like a postcard. I'm a frequent lurker on your page. Stop by mine anytime. It's full of randomness :)
