Soooo even though my good friends Andrea and Jon weren't due to have Jackson for almost 4 weeks after we did her maternity session the little guy decided to come the weekend following their maternity session! He was 18 days early and weighed 7lbs. 10oz.! The doctors were telling her that he may very well be over 9lbs. by the time her due date arrived so it's a good thing he decided to come early!
Again, all I can say is that it's just not hard to photograph this family. Andrea have so much love for each other even after being together for I think around 15 years now. It's so fun to watch them with the little guy now. Usually I focus so much on the newborn but I couldn't help but take a ton of pictures of the new family.

oh how sweet!! He only waited because he wanted his photosession BEFORE he came out. Once he knew the pics were a success he wanted to see them :)
Is that just window lighting? or some studio lighting as well?
This is just window light. Some of my other newborn sessions have been done with studio light though. =)

Oh my guess I don't remember you taking these pictures already !! Seems like you just told me about him !!! What a robust looking baby ! Sooo cute...and the pictures are so great. I bet they will love them.
