This wedding was full of surprises...especially at the reception. There were so many fun little things that they did. My intern and I had the best time! I posted all the in-between photos here. I had a total of 178 from the inbetween shoot so I could have posted a lot more BUT I could only narrow it down to 44 from the rest of the wedding out of the 832 pictures I gave them! Seriously, there were SO many moments to catch throughout this day.
I also wanted to share something cool that happened today that hasn't happened in FOUR years! With the editing completion of this wedding I have completely cleared my "TO DO LIST!" Yes, you are hearing me right when I say that in the past 4 years that I have been in business there has not been ONE day that I have not had SOMETHING to edit or design. This is that day friends. After this post I will have a little mini vacation, until next weekend when I have a wedding. Such a crazy life I live but I absolutely love the chaos!
Katie's mom HANDMADE her dress. It was absolutely stunning. Katie told her mom exactly what she wanted and this dress fit her to a T. What a wonderful and special gift!

Her cool feather hairpiece!
The boys getting in a little pre-wedding b-ball!
I think it's so sweet when the groom walks down the isle with his parents too!
I absolutely LOVE this picture. The anticipation in the face of Paul as his bride nears and the pure happiness in Paul's mom's face as she sees her future daughter in law!
Another picture I LOVE. Paul giving Katie a kiss on her forehead as they walk to the alter and as Katie's parents stand and watch. Pure sweetness!
This shot PROVES that you have to be on your toes as a wedding photographer. "The Kiss"
came out of nowhere. It wasn't in the program and it was in the MIDDLE of the ceremony. A strange time to have it but I was ready! I also got this shot in full body length too but I really like this cropping.
This was Katie's parents unity candle. I love that they got to use it too! It was in perfect condition.
Katie got Paul a groomscake. This is what it said up close.
And this is his reaction to it! HA!
I refused to let Katie take her veil off until after the outdoor pictures and I guess she forgot to take it off so she ended up wrapping it around both her husband and dad several times during their dances!
The start of a traditional Italian dance.
LOVED grandma's slippers! GO STATE!
A little surprise coming up for the groom...
Yes that's right, Katie had some guys bring in a "ball and chain" to lock Paul up with.
This thing was HEAVY!
But he continued to chase Katie around the room with it. Why? Because the sneaky bride had the KEY!
Paul singing to get the ball and chain off. His vocals were....interesting. =)
A candid moment. I thought this was SO cute. I had to post it.
FUN wedding!
