Marika and Max: Sneak Peek 4.25.09

Marika and Max wedding was a day of some CRAZY weather! I always check the wedding report days to weeks before my next wedding in anticipation of a beautiful day. Well 2 days before this wedding the weather forcast was promising wonderful weather. 70's and sunny! The day before I checked the weather again, just in case and to my dismay they were predicting rain! LOTS of rain! All throughout the day! Nooo! The gorgeous blossom trees were in bloom and I was really looking forward to getting some rockin' shots.
I arrived at the hotel where the guys and girls were getting ready at 1pm and it was still very nice out. I was hanging up the brides dress in the window when I looked out and saw black skies! Double NO! We were really trying to stay positive! Well by the time we were about to head over to the ceremony site the clouds broke and the outlook was good!
They had a beautiful ceremony and as we walked out we could see dark skies in the distance. We had a good 5-15min. So I pulled the bride and groom and started snapping away and WOW did I come out with some fantastic images! I can hardly believe I took these pictures.
These are just of Marika and Max. There are bridal party pictures and of course the candids throughout the day to come soon but I wanted to focus on these that we took very quickly for this posting.
Enjoy your sneak peek Marika and Max!

These are sweet! Were you at the Alum Chapel? I love the magnolias in the spring there. And I am so borrowing your chair idea- what a great prop! Beautiful!
