Meghan and Kevin: Engaged!

Meghan found out about me through our mutual friend Tricia. They work together and I have known Tricia for about 7 years. We played softball together. I'm super excited to do Meghan and Kevin's wedding even more now after doing their engagement session. I really love that Meghan chose most of my recommended vendors too! PLUS they are having their reception in the Football Stadium so it will make it my 2nd one up there! It's a very cool place with lots of possibilities!

Hillary and AJ: Engaged!

Back in the days of when I actually had a part time job and was going to photography school I had the pleasure of working with Hillary. She is one of the most driven and intelligent people I know! She's a saver, not a spender like me and also like me, bought her 1st house at 21 years of age. So when she told me she was engaged I was not surprised, being the mature woman she is. AJ is her perfect match. He is also incredibly intelligent with a degree in Japanese. I'm SO happy they found each other and can hardly wait to photograph their wedding in April!

Stephanie and Sean: Engaged! (and married!)

Stephanie and Sean live out of state and so when they came back into town for their wedding we did their engagement pictures in the same week! They are a hilarious couple and we had a ton of fun at both their engagement session and wedding!

If and when they have kids they are for sure to have adorable red locks!

Emily and Ryan: Engaged!

I booked with Emily and Ryan a looong time ago and have been looking forward to their engagement session and getting to know them better. We went to a charming little park and even did some hiking so I got to ask a lot of questions and get a lot of answers! This is exactly why I love to do engagement sessions (and INCLUDE them in all my wedding packages!) because now I feel like instead of clients they are my friends!

Hello Blue Eyes!

The lake boasted the most beautiful natural light. It seems like it acted as almost a reflector because this shot was totally done with natural light even though somehow I think it totally looks like they were filled in with a flash!

I think this is my fave. Even though this type of shot has been done over and over again.
I love it.

E-sessions!

As the sun gets brighter and the days get warmer and longer I start longing to do some engagement sessions! I still have 8 couples who are able to take advantage of the free session I include in most of my wedding packages.
I absolutely love engagement sessions because they are a time to get to know your upcoming wedding couples and have them become comfortable with my photography style and direction. Plus I LOVE seeing all the cute outfits that the girls come up with!
If you've bypassed the thought of having an e-session think again! It's so nice to have beautiful casual pictures of you in your everyday clothes! Plus they are just loads of fun!
