Holiday Print Cut off, 2010 Weddings and Studiotone!

Wedding season is officially over and i'm now into the grind of finishing up weddings and albums.

Balancing life as a photographer, stay at home mom and doing all the rest of lifes chores have proven to be a bigger challenge this year than any other. But i've been meeting deadlines and it seems making everyone happy.
I also feel like my work has jumped leaps and bounds this year and have been proud of the growth and goals i've set and made this year.
I have 3-7 2010 wedding openings left.
Here are my open dates:
January 9, 16, 23, 30
All of February
March 13, 20, 27
April 10, 24
May 1, 8, 22
June 26
July 31
August 7, 14, 28
These dates include the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of that weekend.
I'd love to do some traveling! So Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids and Detroit girls feel free to contact me too!!!

Only a few more days to order prints in time for the holidays. December 14th is the cut off.

And on a personal note...my husband's band (who only play during the holiday's now) are playing this Saturday at The Small Planet in East Lansing! They are a true ROCK band and it's always a good time to celebrate their joining with good beer and good friends so come out and support your local band scene!

Thankfulness...

Happy Thanksgiving! I am forever grateful for the health of my wonderful family. Every one of them means the world to me. I'm truly grateful for this outstanding business I have made and all the incredible clients (and friends!) I have made. Love and thankfulness makes the world go round.

Natalie ONLY loves the point and shoot and frequently asks to "take pictures." But she will only smile if I hold the camera out and take pictures of the two of us.

2 Years ago my life was changed forever. We brought the sweetest little girl into the world and we couldn't love her more. She loves going to the park and climbing up to the big slide by herself. She loves watching Disney movies and snuggling. She loves jumping and laughing and being silly.

Grand Rapids Photographer, Kristine Crawford had a vision to create a magazine based only on top photographers in Michigan and today that vision is in print.
This is such an awesome magazine because it really gives couples so much information about what to look for when searching for a photographer. Wedding planning can be so overwhelming!
There will be FREE copies at Bridal and Jewelry stores throughout Michigan as well as various bridal shows.

I am completely honored that Kristine personally sent me an invitation to be in the magazine among the other top 37 photographers she chose in Michigan to be in the magazine.
Honestly, it's things like this that mean the world to me.
I have built my business from the ground up. That was my vision. I am humbled that so many of you refer business to me. I am in awe that I have the most amazing clients in the world. I am blessed beyond words. I thank God every day that I am able to do what I love and be a stay at home mommy.

Erik and Kellie: My Little Brother and his Girlfriend!

I've miss my little brother terribly! He is in the Navy and stationed in Washington. We see him about once a year. This year he had a new person to bring with him-his girlfriend, Kellie. Kellie and I had been e-mailing and I was SO excited to meet her. She just seems like the perfect person for my little bro! We all have felt such joy getting to know her and seeing how happy the boy is (I call my little brother "boy") Our hometown is South Haven so of course I had to take them to the beach for a few pictures! The sun was out so bright that day though and that is hard to shoot!

She is JUST adorable!

My Silly Little Natty Bug...

My baby is such a little girl now. I just can't believe how fast it has all gone by! She's just a few weeks shy of being 18 months but I think she looks more like a 5 year old! She is SO incredibly goofy. She just has this inner comedian in her that cracks me up! Once again I thought this shoot was a wash because she was basically just running around the whole time but I guess sometimes those end up being the best ones!

Natalie met her Idol...

When I found out that Elmo was going to be skating with the kids at Edru Roller Skating Rink this morning I HAD to take Natalie. She adores Elmo. I wasn't sure how she would do but she really did a great job! She's a natural skater (for a 17 month old!). I'm glad that we got out and did something different. I just joined a mom group and they have tons of activities in the area.
