So FINALLY after over 3 months I heard back from Jim Miotke, the guy who is writing the book that my photo may appear in. Here is what he wrote:
"I have good news for you: your photo has made it into the most recent draft of the Photographing Children book! During the initial stages, the editors unfortunately had to remove a great number of photos due to space and scope considerations, but your photo made the cut!
So keep your fingers crossed... nothing is certain when it comes to publishing. You can't bet on anything until you see the book actually on the shelves in the bookstores. But things are looking very good!"
So as long as the editors don't make any more cuts my photo will be in the book! It's so exciting. Jim will be personally signing and sending me a free copy too!
